Footprints in Recovery is a Christian recovery home for those
suffering with the bonds of addiction.

Our focus is to provide the tools for addicts to become free from the stronghold of the addictive bonds. Christ is at the center of our program.
We offer two Christian homes separated by gender with six beds each. Our homes are located on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, just blocks from the beach. You will receive individual attention as you travel through the 12 Steps of Recovery. Addiction affects everyone, those in the addiction, their families and their friends.
At Footprints in Recovery we have a three legged stool approach: Christianity, Addiction Education and Individual and Family Recovery. Without all 3 legs, the stool cannot stand. The first leg is our study of God's word. Individual coaching to help you remove the bonds of addiction and remain addiction-free is next. Finally you will be transported to licensed individual and family counselors who will help you with the obstacles you need to overcome. Your family will have a healing retreat to prepare them to help foster recovery.
With these key pieces, Christ is the center and is our "Higher Power".
We use a Christ-centered adaptation of Alcoholics Anonymous' 12 Steps to move through recovery. These 12 Steps are the process for letting God change your life.
